Civic Engagement Campaign Campus Coordinator

Mr. Christopher Trey Neal serves as the Campus Coordinator for the Virginia State Conference NAACP’s 2021 Civic Engagement Campaign.

In this role, Mr. Neal leads the Virginia State Conference NAACP Youth & College Division organizing efforts in voter registration and voter turnout on the campuses of Virginia’s historically black colleges and universities. Mr. Neal is committed to the work of non-partisan political and voter engagement in the political process, particularly among college students. He strongly believes that the more young people are engaged in the political process, the better our chances of creating a much more fair and just society.

In addition to his work as Campus Coordinator, Mr. Neal volunteers with the Hampton, Virginia Branch of the NAACP. Mr. Neal is a proud alumnus of Old Dominion University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science.
