Virginia NAACP Mourns the Passing of Congressman A. Donald McEachin

The Virginia State Conference NAACP (Virginia NAACP) mourns the passing of Congressman A. Donald McEachin. He fought fiercely and fearlessly for civil rights and racial justice. Congressman McEachin brought hope to the hopeless and light to those who struggled in the darkness. He will be remembered as a compassionate and dedicated leader who was deeply invested in the Virginia NAACP’s mission of ensuring the political, educational, social, and economic equality of rights of all persons and eliminating racial hatred and racial discrimination. The Commonwealth of Virginia, and especially the 4th Congressional District, is forever changed because of his influence, and he will never be forgotten.
